Instead of ruined secondary school buildings, located in Hayanist and Hovtashat residential areas of Ararat region, completely new and earthquake resistant buildings are rising. Schools are being built by RA Government and Asian Development Bank co-financing, whose construction is implemented by ,,Armenian Territorial Development Fund” commission, in the scopes of “Seismic safety improvement” project. After school buildings construction completion Hayanist newly built school will host 432 schoolchildren, while that of Hovtashat will open its doors for 680 pupils.
