
Armavir province Myasnikyan community has a new stadium.
Within project on “Building a school stadium for village Myasnikyan” Armavir province, a universal open air stadium meant for mini football, basketball and volleyball was delivered for operation. Its sizes and marking was adjusted to contemporary and international accepted standards.
The stadium was named after Hakob Harutyunyan, the hero of Artsakh.
The stadium was built with the commission of “Armenian Territorial Development Fund” in the scopes of ,,Social Investment and Local Development” project with the support of RA Government, World Bank and the community co-financing. Davit Khudatyan Armavir province governor, and Sargis Baghinyan the executive director of “Armenian Territorial Development Fund” were present to the opening ceremony.
The sizes of universal stadium are 44m × 30m, while the total surface is 1320m2. A running track was built around the stadium. The covers of stadium and running track are of refillable seamless rubber coating with the thickness of 10cm. The rubber coating of the stadium is green while the running track cover is yellow. A tribune designed for about 60 spectators was mounted along the longitudinal side of the stadium, and an 18-square-meter canopy was installed on the lateral side near the main entrance for coaches and trainees.
The cost of project was 45,685,851 AMD.
