A business trip to Gegharqunik province
“Armenian Territorial Development Fund” staff, in the lead of Sargis Baghinyan, the director made a visit to Gegharqunik province construction sites. The first stop was town Sevan, where the Foundation employees make a survey, with an effort of finding solutions to the rehabilitation of sewerage collector, built in town Sevan in 1980-s, being under improper operation. The main sewerage collector of the town is in wrecking condition. Due to years lasting improper operation, manholes covers are missing, emerging in poor condition, while the whole sewerage pipeline is jammed with stones and sand. The Foundation director gave solutions to some issues right on the place, while some issues will be solved after professional conclusion submission.
Afterwards the Foundation working group made a visit to the construction site of Chambarak N-1 school being under complete reconstruction. With an aim of completing the construction within the time period set, Sargis Baghinyan, the Foundation director urged to add labor force. The module type school, consisting of 8 score buildings is meant for 432 schoolchildren. It will also have closed gym and acting halls together with 2 elevators for children with limited mobility. An open air sports field, a boiler house and a heating main will be built. The area gentrification confines asphalt paved road construction and area landscaping.
These days, another school with 5 score buildings, meant for 576 schoolchildren is in active construction phase. Geghovit secondary school N-2 has 5 score buildings two of which are three storied, while two are one storied, in one of which a gym and acting hall are planned. Ramps, elevator as well as toilets adjusted for pupils with less mobility are also planned within construction.
