Earthquake resistant schools’ construction is already irrevocable fact for Armenia. The program is implemented within “Seismic safety level increasing” (SSLI) project that is currently realized by, Armenian Territorial Development Fund” (ATDF) with RA Government financial support and “Asian Development Bank” co –financing. Within this program only, basic rehabilitation of 40 schools is included on RA Government priority list. One of them is school N-122, that is opening its doors for 825 schoolchildren very soon. The school was designed by “HAYGYUGHSHINAXAGITS” company. Building conditions were substantially improved, the total area of school has increased by more than 50 percent. Academic areas have been increased. The school is supplied with modern engineering systems. For the construction more than 1.9 billion AMD was invested.
