The working group of “Armenian Territorial Development Fund” in the lead of Sargis Baghinyan, executive director was in Gyumri. Together with Vardges Samsonyan, the community head, an array of issues pertaining to construction implemented by ATDF with RA Government, World Bank Armenia financial support and communities co-financing were discussed with the contractors and infrastructures’ heads. A particular attention was paid to “Town Gyumri touristic infrastructures and roads construction” project in the scopes of which some streets rehabilitation is being performed. Issues regarding Haghtanak avenue, and Hanesoghlyan street infrastructures were discussed and solved at site. The working group made a visit to area under improvement, located in Amenaprkich church adjacent part, together with Nalbandyan, Chaykovski and Khanjyan streets where corresponding assignments were provided. In Gyumri ATDF is implementing development projects in a range of directions. In general, a 4 billion and 800 million project is currently being implemented in Gyumri within “Local Economy and Infrastructures Development” program.

In the scopes of business trip, the foundation employees made a visit to Marmashen church adjacent area, where at this moment improvement works are being done.
