French Development Agency (FDA) in the lead of deputy director Bertran Valkenaer paid a visit to Vedi water reservoir. The delegation was led by Vache Terteryan, deputy minister of “Territorial Administration and Infrastructure”, Sargis Baghinyan director of “Armenian  Territorial Development Fund”, and Vahagn Gevorgyan,  “Water Committee” chairman. Firstly the delegation members were introduced to the whole process of Vedi water reservoir dam and irrigation construction process. Bertran Valkenaer got interested in economic growth to be expected in the region after the reservoir completion, together with issues raised during construction and solutions provided to them. Vedi water reservoir is being constructed by FDA loan and RA Government co-financing. At this phase, 97 percent of works is completed. The tunnel and big dam construction are on completion  stage. Little work has remained on small dam.
