Instead of old dilapidated building, located in Hayanist, a new school has been built with RA Government financing and the delegation of “Armenian Territorial Development Fund”. In the lead of Sargis Baghinyan, the Fund executive director, the engineers’ group conducted a visit to the school site, where the latest corrections of completion phase were discussed with the constructor. The school is two –storied with a ground floor. The building is monolith reinforced concrete with nine and more seismic resistance. The pre-school lessons as well as educational process for 1-5 classes are held on the 1-th floor, while middle and high school students study on the 2-nd floor. There are 4 staircases and 1 elevator at school. The classrooms of chemistry, physics, geography and computer science will be armed with computers and corresponding equipment for practical lessons. The school will have a canteen too. There are 232 solar panels, mounted on the roof. The school heating will be made from the boiler house, to be operated with natural gaz. There are toilets, ramp and a crane meant for disabled children and for those with limited mobility. The school area was fenced, a refurbishment was performed and a stadium and sports-field was built. The contract price for school construction makes more than two and half billion AMD.
