Sevan community ruined sewerage collector, laid in the 80-es of the past century is being rehabilitated by Armenian Territorial and Development Fund commission

The rehabilitation works of Sevan community ruined sewerage collector has been restored through “Armenian Territorial and Development Fund” (ATDF). The operations are implemented at state budget expense, with the support of “Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures”. By the order of Sargis Baghinyan, ATDF director, the Foundation working group has initially made a list of primary works pertaining to Gegharqunik province Sevan community ruined sewerage collector rehabilitation, non-functioning for years. By ATDF director order, Sevan community municipality and “Veolia Jur” CJSC representatives also took part in the committee operations.

The length of section of the sewerage collector, laid in the 80-es of the past century, nonfunctioning properly, that needs cleaning as well, makes 2,5km. As a result of survey group made observations, among 17 manholes mounted alongside the collector, 11 manholes had no slab covers, while the rest 6 with slab covers didn’t have overlays. In various sections of the sewer serious jams in the form of rocky stones were detected. The rocky stones were removed due to builder’s efficient operations. Some manholes were discovered under thick soil layer. Currently washing operations alongside the sewer are being performed with special machinery.
