
ARMENIAN TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT FUND INVITES STAKEHOLDERS TO PUBLIC CONSULTATION
The Territorial Development Fund of Armenia, with the financing of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the World Bank, will implement the “Tourism and Regional Infrastructure” Project. The selected target development clusters of the Project are Dvin, Goris, Areni, Yeghegis, Jermuk, Gyumri, and Dilijan.
During the Project preparation stage, environmental and social documents have been developed, including the Environmental and Social Management Framework, the Environmental and Social Commitment Plan, the Resettlement Framework, the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and the Labor Management Procedures.
These documents will be presented during public consultations organized in the target regions and communities with the participation of stakeholders. The involvement of representatives of local self-government bodies, civil society organizations, tourism offices, local residents, and other interested entities is emphasized by the implementing organization and the World Bank.
The venues for the public consultations are as follows:
- Dilijan Municipality – August 22, at 11:30
- Ararat Regional Administration – August 26, at 10:00
- Vayots Dzor Regional Administration – August 27, at 14:00
- Goris Municipality – August 28, at 11:00
- Shirak Regional Administration – September 8, at 11:00
