More than 70% of town Gyumri and twelve communities drinking waterlines project is finished. In upcoming period Gyumri and twelve communities will make a move to 24-hour water supply. “Water supply and water removal rehabilitation project” being in “Shirak Water and Sewerage” CJSC perimeter, is implemented by “Armenian Territorial Development Fund” with the loan provided by “German Development Bank” (KFW)  and RA Government co-financing. 11.5 million Euro program was launched in 2021 by which town Gyumri water supply system rehabilitation and 7km ruined sewerage network reconstruction was planned. Drinking water supply system with completely new pipelines is being implemented in 12 communities. In general, around 7500 subscribers are 262km waterline beneficiaries. In order to supply 24-hour water supply, 11 regulating reservoirs will be mounted. Completely new water meters will be installed.
