CULTIVATED LANDS ARE EXPECTED INCREASE IN YEGHEGNADZOR

The construction of 1480m long Shatin-Getap water pipeline is completed. In the past, the water line flew through earth and ruined bed, irrigating 44 hectare of land, due to which 58% of water meant for farmers didn’t reach gardens. Within the framework of “Irrigation systems modification” project, with the financial support of RA Government and Eurasian Development Bank co-financing, Armenian Territorial Development Fund” (ATDF) rehabilitated Shatin-Getap water line, which is ready for operation. Around 720m of 1480m waterline is monolith reinforced concrete out of LR-8 type half pipe. In general, more than 112 million AMD was spent on the waterline, due to which water loss percentage was reduced, it is expected that in the territory of Yeghegnadzor, cultivated lands percentage will see a significant increase.
